Humble Budoka - 1G

These are really good compared to some of the aggro we have seen in the last few years. This doesn't really affect T1 though, unless someone reallly wants to build white weenie with these new savannah lions.

Hardly so, as they are legendary, which, with the new legend rule, is going to be even more of a pain in the ass in T2 and block.

I just don't get this card.  It is AWFUL!  How is it better than Savannah Lions?  The fact that it has an extra toughness is really worthless.  Especially given that you can never have more than one out at a time.  YAY!  This card SUCKS.

Oh yeah and if you have ever played with Jackal Pup you will know that Pup is better than Lion despite the drawback because of the power of red's support cards.  Until white gets CHEAP and powerful spells, good weenies (if this was one) are still not going to be good enough.

The legend thing isn't a problem. You jst run only like two of these instead of being a 4-of, and you have almost no chance of it biting you in the ass.

People who have a life sometimes go on holiday to Turkey and then have to catch up on the latest CoK. Besides which the thread was only about ten down on page 1 and I thought my post was about as useful as anyone else's given that we are talking about WW and 2CC aggro creatures in Type I. Nice pic though.

IMHO you could probably run 3 of the doggies without too much chance of getting dog-locked.

Yeah. Exactly what WW needs. A so-so card that might well end up stalling the deck in the first few turns.

How was your holiday in Turkey? Whereabouts did you go?

OMG too much info, especially in combination with the anime thing in the desktop thread.

Bram just showed that the Dutch are actually German and therefore have no understanding of sarcasm.

I went to Gumbet which is part of Bodrum. Good to see lots of English lasses again. Good as in, good job I now live in a country that has slim women. My (heavily pregnant) wife was happy too. She said she felt slim there. Hotel review, Otel Sami small rooms, right on the beach, great staff, 3 huge screens showing football in the beach bar (because you might want to watch more than one match or be forced to sit somewhere without a clear view of one of the screens)
Turkey was great, I didn't see a single cloud for 2 weeks until the last day, which let's face it, is exactly when you want the weather to turn worse. The people there were very friendly although nobody offered me any camels for the wife or daughter. I came back to strong winds and snow on the local mountains, it feels very very cold here in Slovakia. At least my Chinese playset of Trinispheres were waiting for me when I got back. I didn't play a single game of Magic in Turkey.

If I haven't insulted your country, please let me know and I'll try to rectify it in the future (apart From France, I'm trying to keep in Toad's good books until he adds Portal to MTGPics)

Bodrum eh? Plagued by any earthquakes at all? I went to Kusadasi a few weeks back, which is somewhat to the north of Bodrum. Take any excursions? I hear you can take a day trip to Ephesus from Bodrum (Ephesus being about a 10 minute walt from Kusadasi). Did you happen to go?

Ephesus yes, earthquakes no (the people in the room below might have felt tremors). That was the only trip I went on. Haggling in Turkish money is fun, it is soooooooo easy to react with horror to a price of 20 million even if it is 11 Euros. I hear they are going to drop 6 0s from the money next year, coins worth 250 000 is just wrong. Imagine a Black Lotus being priced at 600 000 000 Lire!!

Yeah, you literally have to be a billionaire to aquire a set of power over there.

Also: how interesting that you went to ephesus, too, a mere months or so after I myself went there. If you had told me you were going in advance, I would have carved 'DTHT' on the floor of the theatre.

Just like tyres, you have to keep pumping if you want them to inflate. Besides which, I couldn't play Magic out there, sex is an acceptable substitute even if you are not allowed to play with a number of people.
