I have been having fun with this casual deck for a while. At any given point, I tend to be working on some form of casual Atog deck or another. The intial design of this deck came from trying to make a deck for the casual invitational which never ended up happening. The original design ended up being a bit too strong for the format, so I toned it down.
However, I also continued to work on the initial version of the deck. The kill mechanism is inspired by my playing Affinity, any by my desire to use Atogs. The basic "engine" is to get a Future Sight or similar card into play, and then win using Atog, Disciple, or Fling. Colossus is in the deck as a backup kill mechanism, and he happens far less than Atog.
So, why Atog, instead of the easier-to-cast Arcbound Ravager? Of course, the deck could run Ravager, but Atog offers some clear advantages. Becaues the deck has no artifact creatures, Ravager's Modular ability isn't very good in this deck. Atog grows twice as quickly as Ravager, and so Atog has more synergy with the sideboarded Fling and Berserk. Atog gets around Null Rod, Rack and Ruin, and similar hateful cards. Also, unlike Ravager, Atog also has a cool grin.
Here is the deck: // NAME: The Atog Deck
// Lands 4 Glimmervoid 1 Tolarian Academy 3 City of Brass 4 Seat of the Synod 3 Vault of Whispers
// Creatures 1 Darksteel Colossus 4 Disciple of the Vault 2 Atog
// Spells 1 Demonic Tutor 1 Ancestral Recall 1 Time Walk 1 Yawgmoth's Will 1 Memory Jar 1 Timetwister 1 Vampiric Tutor 1 Cunning Wish 4 Force of Will 1 Chrome Mox 1 Crop Rotation 1 Black Lotus 1 Mox Sapphire 1 Zuran Orb 3 Chromatic Sphere 1 Sol Ring 1 Mana Crypt 1 Mana Vault 1 Lotus Petal 1 Fastbond 1 Tinker 2 Future Sight 1 Thirst for Knowledge 4 Thoughtcast 1 Mox Ruby 1 Mox Jet 1 Mox Pearl 1 Mox Emerald 1 Hurkyl's Recall
// Sideboard SB: 1 Atog SB: 2 Hurkyl's Recall SB: 1 Fling SB: 2 Berserk SB: 1 Echoing Truth SB: 3 Pyrostatic Pillar SB: 2 Seal of Removal SB: 3 Defense Grid
The engine of this deck is based off an old combo-keeper deck I played some time ago, but with better card drawing spells. The Zuran Orb + Fastbond + FutureSight/Bargain combo happens more often than you might think. The sideboard is questionable, but Fling and Berserk are important inclusions. Beyond that, it needs more testing.
This deck is something like 13-2 playing against people I don't know on MWS. If you're looking for a fun combo type deck, you might want to give this a try.

The thread name got my hopes up. I was expecting more Atogatogs, especially in the casual forum.

This is a casual deck. At least, more casual than most decks I play...

I suppose I'm with Aeneas. It's hard to consider a deck with 9/9 Power, Tinker, Fastbond, and Memory Jar to be casual. It seems much more like a deck that wanted to be competetive, but didn't pan out. I don't mean to pick on you, but it's a rare casual group that wouldn't bat an eyelash to see this show up at the Saturday afternoon game.
I don't know if you were looking for commentary on the deck or not. You didn't say a whole lot about it, so I wasn't sure what you were looking for.

Did you know that Red is the color or art and music and passion? Combine that with Green, the color of nature, spiritualism, and community and you get a hippie commune of drum circles, dreamcatchers, and recreational drug use. Let's see that win a Pro Tour.

You could add Yet Another AEther Vortex for additional hilarity over Future Sight.

I realize that my idea of "casual" may not be the same as other people's definitions. To me, a casual deck is any deck whole sole purpose isn't winning the game. I don't know if you were looking for commentary on the deck or not. I just posted it because I've had fun with it, and wanted to give other people the chance to have fun with it too. That's all

As far as TMD is concerned, Casual encompasses everything that is not good enough to run in a tournament and expect to do reasonably well. This is, for all intents and purposes, tier 3 and lower. This also includes wacky formats like Type 4, Highlander, Battle of the Sets, etc.
