I am not particularly good with coming up with flavor text, and I have only created flavor text for one of my cards. A lot of the cards I create tend to have a lot of text, which doesn't leave enough room for flavor text. However, the follow cards do and I welcome any flavor text you can suggest (for any or all of them).
Actors' Guild 1W Enchant Creature Enchanted creature has "T: Tap target creature."
Benevolent Angel 4WWW Creature - Angel 4/4 Flying All other creatures you control gain protection from all colors.
Devoted Paladin 3WW Creature - Knight 3/3 Protection from black You can't be the target of black spells or abilities.
Disdain 2UU Instant Choose one - Return target permanent to its owner's hand; or counter target spell.
Merchants' Guild 1U Enchant Creature Enchanted creature has "T: Draw a card, then discard a card from your hand."
Antipaladin 3BB Creature - Knight 3/3 Protection from white When Antipaladin comes into play, all white creatures get -2/-2 until end of turn.
Assassins’ Guild 1B Enchant Creature Enchanted creature has "T: Destroy target tapped creature."
Goblin Archer 1R Creature - Goblin 1/1 When Goblin Archer comes into play, it deals 1 damage to target creature or player.
Goblin Loudmouth R Creature - Goblin 2/1 When Goblin Loudmouth comes into play, sacrifice it unless you discard a card at random from your hand.
Reckless Dragon 2RR Creature - Dragon 4/4 Flying When Reckless Dragon comes into play, it deals 4 damage to you.
Sandblast 1R Sorcery Each player reveals his or her hand and discards all instant cards from it.
Thieves’ Guild 1R Enchant Creature Enchanted creature has "T: Gain control of target artifact."
Rangers’ Guild 1G Enchant Creature Enchanted creature has "T: Put a land card from your hand into play."
Wrath of Gaea 2GG Sorcery Destroy target nongreen permanent.
Yavimaya Naturalist G Creature - Elf 1/1 G, T: Put target enchantment on top of its owner's library.
Yavimaya Sentinel G Creature – Elf 1/1 Protection from artifacts
Defile XUUB Instant Counter target spell. Its controller discards X cards at random from his or her hand.
Trial by Fire XUUR Instant Counter target spell. Trial by Fire deals X damage to that spell's controller.
Yavimaya Trailblazer 1RG Creature - Nomad Elf 2/2 Creatures you control have haste.
Rod of Dispel Magic 2 Artifact Players can't play enchantments' activated abilities.
Thanks!!

A lot of the cards I create tend to have a lot of text, which doesn't leave enough room for flavor text. However, the follow cards do and I welcome any flavor text you can suggest (for any or all of them).
Actors' Guild 1W Enchant Creature Enchanted creature has "T: Tap target creature." The play's the thing To catch the concious of the king. --Hamlet, William Shakesphere
Benevolent Angel 4WWW Creature - Angel 4/4 Flying All other creatures you control gain protection from all colors. Her guiding hand leads all to safty
Devoted Paladin 3WW Creature - Knight 3/3 Protection from black You can't be the target of black spells or abilities. Evil's will cannot tarnish a good man's resolve.
Disdain 2UU Instant Choose one - Return target permanent to its owner's hand; or counter target spell. "Either way, your fun is ruined" -- Belthor the Mad
Merchants' Guild 1U Enchant Creature Enchanted creature has "T: Draw a card, then discard a card from your hand." One must spend money to earn money -- Merchant Guild Motto
Antipaladin 3BB Creature - Knight 3/3 Protection from white When Antipaladin comes into play, all white creatures get -2/-2 until end of turn. Those of pure heart cannot bear to look on the terrible face of impurity
Assassins’ Guild 1B Enchant Creature Enchanted creature has "T: Destroy target tapped creature." "Today's lesson: Hit 'em whilst thier back is turned" -- Goron, Master Assassin.
Goblin Archer 1R Creature - Goblin 1/1 When Goblin Archer comes into play, it deals 1 damage to target creature or player. Though your average goblin archer is only given one arrow, they usualy make the most of it.
Goblin Loudmouth R Creature - Goblin 2/1 When Goblin Loudmouth comes into play, sacrifice it unless you discard a card at random from your hand. Boss! Hey Boss! BOSS! Am I doing this right?
Reckless Dragon 2RR Creature - Dragon 4/4 Flying When Reckless Dragon comes into play, it deals 4 damage to you. Sages disagree on whether the dragon's poor aim is due to a lack of carefullness or just a disregard for it's master's safty.
Sandblast 1R Sorcery Each player reveals his or her hand and discards all instant cards from it. Quick action is impossible when one hand is constantly shielding your eyes.
Thieves’ Guild 1R Enchant Creature Enchanted creature has "T: Gain control of target artifact." Finding what you want and taking what you want are not as important as getting back home with it
Rangers’ Guild 1G Enchant Creature Enchanted creature has "T: Put a land card from your hand into play." A knowledge of the wilderness will always help you to gather more resources.
Wrath of Gaea 2GG Sorcery Destroy target nongreen permanent. The forest does not tolerate that which does not belong
Yavimaya Naturalist G Creature - Elf 1/1 G, T: Put target enchantment on top of its owner's library. No trick of mages can ever hope to outwit nature's servents.
Yavimaya Sentinel G Creature – Elf 1/1 Protection from artifacts Sometimes knowing how to disable a machine is more useful the knowing how to build one
Defile XUUB Instant Counter target spell. Its controller discards X cards at random from his or her hand. "If you can't play with your toys properly, you won't play with them at all." -- Inashi, Sorcerous Queen
Trial by Fire XUUR Instant Counter target spell. Trial by Fire deals X damage to that spell's controller. Zoraster's spell sputtered and faded, but then rebounded on him in a ball of flame. This would not be a pleasant dual.
Yavimaya Trailblazer 1RG Creature - Nomad Elf 2/2 Creatures you control have haste. A good road is not only the path to your enemy, but the path to victory.
Rod of Dispel Magic 2 Artifact Players can't play enchantments' activated abilities. Hannah: This one doesn't do anything either! Gerrard: I'm not going over this agian.
You'll have to forgive any spelling errors.

Thieves’ Guild 1R Enchant Creature Enchanted creature has "T: Gain control of target artifact." Take heed, have open eye, for thieves do foot by night.
Wrath of Gaea 2GG Sorcery Destroy target nongreen permanent. I oft admire how nature, wise and frugal, could commit such disproportions.
Any ideas on who I can attribute the above quote to?

Did you not like any of my ideas? I thought a couple of them were pretty good.

Rando: None of your flavor text suggestions really knocked my socks off, except for Actors' Guild. I'll probably use it:
The play's the thing wherein I'll catch the conscience of the king. -- William Shakespeare, Hamlet
I liked Goblin Archer, Reckless Dragon, and Rod of Dispel Magic too.
I appreciate your efforts. I guess everyone else is saving all of the good flavor text for their own cards...
(I don't know if Jacob was being sarcastic or not...)

I thought the ones for Yavimaya Trailblazer, Sand Blast and Goblin Loudmouth were good. The flavor I put for the Rod was a joke, for the most part, but it grows on me.
Oh well, just trying to help. Use what you want and discard the rest.
Oh, and I'm glad you remembered the correct Hamlet quote. It was the first thing that popped into my mind when I read your card.

(I don't know if Jacob was being sarcastic or not...) No, I thought several of them were very good. The hamlet one was obviously amazing, but there were other ones that I thought were definitely good enough to use. I'm too lazy to read them all again, though.

I like your flavor text for Rod of Dispel Magic because it was a joke. It made me laugh out loud.
I don't read the novels, are Hanna and Gerrard both still alive?
Rod of Dispel Magic 2 Artifact Players can't play enchantments' activated abilities. Gerrard: "This one doesn't do anything either!" Hanna: "I'm not going over this again."

Really? Didn't Gerrard kill Urza? (Or Urza sacrifice himself...?)

Really? Didn't Gerrard kill Urza? (Or Urza sacrifice himself...?) If I recall correctly, Gerrard eventually cut off Urza's head (which didn't kill him). They both sacrficed themselves.

Jebus is right, losing his head didn't kill Urza. He died when he gave up his powerstone eyes (to Karn, which made him into a planeswalker). He may have done something with his eyes before eventually letting Karn get them, I don't remember.

In case anyone cares, Hanna died of the Phyrexian plague. I'm sure there's a card that shows it, but I can't find it in Gatherer...
