The scenario:
You are playing a 5 man game and its fairly late in the draft. You have been drafting a "castle" type deck thus far, and only another 50 cards are left to be drafted (5 "packs" left). You already have a Triskelion (last pick in a pod earlier). Both Masticore and Vampiric Dragon have already been drafted by others. Tooth and Nail has not come up yet. These 10 cards are the next draft set...what do you take first?
[card]Insurrection[/card] [card]Aladdin's Lamp[/card] [card]Capsize[/card] [card]Second Thoughts[/card] [card]Time Stretch[/card] [card]Quicksilver Elemental[/card] [card]Myojin of Night's Reach[/card] [card]Ryusei, the Falling Star[/card] [card]Pristine Angel[/card] [card]Mephidross Vampire[/card]

There are few cards I would ever draft above Aladdin's Lamp.

I would take Capsize.
Capsize is RIDICULOUS. Especially in Castle decks.

Time stretch is a huge bomb no matter what anyone says. Not only does it allow you to draw 2 cards, it also allows you to develop your board position emmensely. I think that this is the best card in this draft by far.

I voted for the lamp....but Capsize is a very close second, and I probably would take it if I hadn't drafted any big bombs or anything I really wanted to tutor for.
I would guess the last card drafted here would be Ryusei. Time stretch would be "ok" if I ever had anything on the board...but you certainly can't count on that very often in T4.

You could quite possibly get Mephidross Vampire last pick

I dont even think this is close:
a) capsize is an instant b) capsize prevents anyone from having permanents ever c) capsize can be played when its uncounterable (i.e. when everyone has already played a spell) d) capsize was banned from my deck for a really long time becuase its super annoying

Yea....I forgot about the Vampire. He is probably the last pick, unless somebody wants to go for some tricky stuff.
Capsize is really good and deserving of a #1 pick.....but in games I've played it's never been used for more than 1 or 2 permanents before people wise up and it gets countered. The same with whispers of the muse. Although after listening to everyones arguments, I agree that it is probably the number 1 pick here.

I agree with Capsize, but I'd like to point out that the jury is still out on Night's Reach... this card may become a serious bomb in the format. I have not yet played in a game where he came down, so I have no evidence yet. It will be very hard to lose when this guy resolves, methinks.
