I've been thinking about a reincarnation of "The Rock" in T1. So far the idea has been boggling my mind ever since I saw a lot of the spoiler for Kamigawa.

The main cards that could bring this deck to the tier 1 or tier 2 spot would be cranial extraction. I think that CE can be abused quite easily, and with all the control and workshop decks running around it could be a viable deck. In addition to those archtypes, it seems like Oath is going to be good again, which would be another reason why the deck would work.

Here's an idea of a possible decklist

Lands
4 Bayou
4 Wasteland
1 Strip Mine
9 Swamp
8 Forest

The Broken
1 Black Lotus
1 Sol Ring
1 Mana Crypt
1 Mox Jet
1 Mox Emerald

The Win Conditions
3 Spiritmonger
3 Kokusho the evening star

The Disruption
4 Duress
3 Cranial Extraction
1 Haunting Echoes
1 Mind Twist

More Brokenness
1 Yawgmoth's Will
1 Vampiric Tutor
1 Regrowth
2 Living Wish

Removal
3 Diabolic Edict
4 Pernicious Deed

The SB is undecided

The deck could be viable or it might not be but it definatley needs work and I need some help from experts with this deck and possibly making it a viable deck for T1.

Please post your thoughts and suggestions, because I really could use them.

your deck has too much emphasis on board control, and not enough on useful disruption.  Also, see dark ritual, as It could help speed up your painstakinly slow deck.

Did you know posts with nothing but decklists are against the rules on TheManaDrain?  It's true!  You can read all about it in THE RULES.
