4 Force of Will
4 Mana Leak
4 Mana Drain
2 Misdirection
4 Ophidian
2 Morphling
4 Back to Basics
4 Impulse
1 Fact or Fiction
3 Powder Keg
1 Ancestral Recall
1 Crucible of Worlds
1 Time Walk

5 Moxen
5 Wastes
1 Sol Ring
1 Black Lotus
4 Flooded Strand
1 Tundra
8 Island

sB:
4 Flux
4 Orchard
4 Seal of Cleansing
2 Old Man of the Sea
1 Gaea's Blessing

Pretty self-explanatory. A fairly mundane build of MonoBlue, with Seal/Orchards sb to beat Oath. I really like running Orchard against them, because you have more Wastes + 1 Crucible, so the Orchard war should be in your favor. Running Orchards against them also allows you to play your Morphlings even when they've resolved an Oath. Seal of Cleansing is as always a beating.

Excellent workshop matchups, B2B and Flux are always a beating.

Again, testing limited, but its fairly obvious from past finishes that monoblue doesn't suck.

LMK what you think and how it works for you....

Would you board in Seals/Orchard vs. Workshop Aggro and Stacks too? It would seem beneficial but the 1/1's you give them can hurt over time, and shut off your Phids.

Speaking of which, Ophidian is really horrid vs. Oath, the deck you're trying to meta against. I suggest replacing them, maybe with TFK or something, because they also get turned off when you board in Orchards.

Didn't Scott Limoges already do this for Waterbury with 4 TFK over Phids and a Tinker/Colossus as a secondary win?

Silly Mike. This was a deck he had before the SCGs tournament. He just added the new cards, but the deck is very similar. Id imagine he'd side akroma and SOTN now. Possibly.

It doesn't really matter if anyone has already done it, I just think its a good idea for right now and no one seems to be discussing it. I haven't seen anyone siding Orchards vs Oath yet though...

Also, @Negator, I board out 4 Phid and 4 Island for 4 Orchard and 4 Seal of Cleansing. I have not been boarding in Seals vs those decks, although I have been boarding in Seals w/o Orchards vs Belcher and other assorted combo.

Sorry if I sound stupid, but I thought the whole point of Impulse was to dodge your Chalice for 1 in MonoU, wouldnt it be better to replace that with a better draw card such as Brainstorm?

I'm not saying it's a bad idea, I'm just saying the obvious.  The deck is fairly strong, and the Oath conversion shores up aggro matches.

I'd still like to see a Colossus and Tinker in there if you're going the TFK route.  Not to mention that Colossus isn't to bad to Oath into.  I'd also agree with the Brainstorms.
