As you all know I'm a noob when it comes to getting an avatar, I'm a little computer iliterate that way. So I need help in finding an avatar for my new username, Son of Satan. I want to keep it plain and simple so a picture of Diablo from the computer game Diablo 2 will fit the profile quite nicely. if you can give me the picture all cut and resized and ready to use that would be great. All help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Well, you probably shouldn't post this kind of a post.  Instead you should most likely PM someone and ask for help, or jump on IRC and ask for some help.

However, in the spirit of helping, if you PM me with a link to a picture that you need resized, I will certainly do what I can.

I posted the same exact post and I had no problem. My last avatar was of Charles Manson and even the Moderators helped me like Jacob Orlove and Zherbus. They helped me get an avatar after I posted a similiar topic in the past, that's why my post title says "Again?"

So please don't start jumping to conclusions because this topic is totally acceptable in the past, present and future. All I ask is for your help. thank you.

This is the community forum. Asking for help with avatars is fine. We used to have a huge thread for this, but then some people quit, and there was no one to make the avatars anymore.

Assuming that the dude you're talking about is the badass cloaked skeleton from the game's cover, here you go. 65x65 pixels, and <6K big. That should do the trick.

Two notes:
1. this may or may not actually be Diablo. I'm not much of a gamer.
2. do yourself a favor and copy this to your harddrive and upload it to the TMD page (in 'profile'). I'm taking this off my webspace in a few days from now.

Thanks so much Bram, that picture is great. I'm having a problem though setting up that avatar. It's saying it needs to be less than 12 kb big. If you can resize the image then post it again that would be more than great. Thank you and extra kudos to you for helping me.

I'm not 100% sure, but I think this is what happens to your character after you complete the game. After smashing the Soulstone that contains Diablos "soul" into your forehead (wicked cinematic for that era) the game ends with a story that your warrior/rogue/wizard is being consumed by Diablos powers, being the perfect intro into Diablo 2's story  Twisted Evil

Heh. I could have sworn it was smaller than the requirement. Oh well. I made it into a .gif (it looked better than a really small .jpg).

Hope it works this time 'round. Lemme know if it doesn't. Oh, and you're quite welcome :-)

It worked Bram!! Thank you so much! The Mods can lock this thread now unless anyone wants to talk about the game, which I highly doubt.  Wink

P.S.- Nobody already has this avatar right? It's totally unique to this forum, am I correct? Cuz i think I might of seen someone with this avatar already. I could be totally wrong though. But thanks again to Bram for getting me this avatar, Bram you rock!!
