Disclaimer: I'm not a n00b, I don't play SuiBlack and I know why it's bad. This is just a quirky idea that someone may want to experiment with to see if it has merit.

The idea behind the following abomination is that graveyard and mana disruption are very powerful right now, as is targeted, pinpoint hand disruption. Previous black aggro builds ran crap like Hymn to Tourach, which makes Welders dance for joy, and Sinkhole, which doesn't do anything. The choices in here are meant for a control heavy, Welder heavy meta with little Workshops.

Before anything else, here's the list:

Mana Sources (24)

9 Swamp
1 Strip Mine
4 Wasteland
4 Mishra's Factory
1 Black Lotus
1 Mox Jet
4 Dark Ritual

Critters (12)

4 Nezumi Graverobber
4 Withered Wretch
4 Phyrexian Negator

Hand Rape (12)

4 Duress
4 Cabal Therapy
4 Unmask

Other Disruption (6)

3 Smother
3 Null Rod

I need cards too! (6)

1 Demonic Tutor
4 Night's Whisper
1 Necropotence

Sideboard (15...)

4 Planar Void
4 Contagion
4 Sphere of Resistance
3 Spawning Pit, Altar of Dementia, or Engineered Plague

Explanations:

The mana base is fairly standard for a... Sui black deck, except for the Factories, which are there to let you at least put up a fight against Oath and give you more ways to Flashback Therapy. Maybe they are better relegated to the board.

Critters:

There's no Shade, and there's no Hippie. Shade is too mana intensive for this deck, and there isn't enough black mana to use him effectively. As for Hippie, well, random discard blows.

Withered Wretch is your maindeck, 2/2 Planar Void, he's really good against Welder, Intuiton, Crucible, Dragon, Tog, and Will. Graverobber is newfangled tech that complements Wretch and has good synergy with him. Keep in mind that the Flip ability of the Robber is triggered only when you actually use his activated ability, which means he wont flip if you remove all their cards with Wretch. Negator is pretty good right now, except against 5/3 and other aggro, but you dont have a chance in hell against them anyway. Sad, but true. Why do you think I put this in the Newbie forum on purpose?

The hand rape is all targeted, pinpoint that lets you surgically take apart your opponents resources. Random discard blows, targeted discard is great. Unmask is -CA, but hey, so is FoW.

As for the other cards, Smother is probably the best maindeckable removal available, other choices include Devour in Shadow and Diabolic Edict. I just don't like Devouring Psychatogs. Night's Whisper is superior to Consultation, Vamp, and other random black draw. Yawgmoths Will isnt included because its dead post board with Void and theres nothing to Will back anyway.

The board has Void for everything WW is good against, Contagion for Welders, Pit for Oath, and Sphere for combo.

This deck seems good against Monoblue, Control Slaver, Tog, and not much else. I dont see how it could ever win a single game against 5/3 or Stax, and Oath looks near impossible too. It's just some food for thought and maybe something you can take to a small tourney if you're expecting 0 Workshops. And I mean 0.

In other words it rolls over and dies to Aggro and Combo.  Wink

Lmao I know. I thought this post would make me look retarded, and it did  Razz

Maybe (read, most likely(read, definitely)) I'm wrong about the cards I used... and obv. Sui black is horrible.

I dont know, I got bored yesterday and put some bad black cards together. I started with the idea to use Planar Void, got a little excited a bout running Therapy and Unmask, and made this POS. Thats why I put it in the newbie forum.

I think i'll just delete this thread because it makes me look completely stupid. I;m quite competent with the format but this is what happens when I have nothing to do (laid up sick) and have a pen and pad nearby.
