We are planning to run a proxy Type 1 Tournament in 2005. We are not sure of the best way to do it to attract players, so after much debate and the odd battle we have given up and decided to ask your opinion.
The main elements we are not sure on is how may proxy’s and what type should be allowed. So below are 3 questions, please let us know your answers at
tournaments@theplaceforgames.com and we will run with the majority vote. Also let us know if you would be interested in playing.
Question 1
Should Factory sets and International Collector sets be:-
a Excluded
b Form part of the proxy count
c Allowed if played in sleeves
Question 2
How Many Proxy’s should be allowed:-
a 3
b 5
c 10
d Unlimited
e 5 plus Ł1 to a charity of our choice for each additional proxy
Question 3
When should this event be run and how:-
a Once a year
b Once every three months
c Every month as a side event
d Every month as a main event alongside another event
e As part of a Constructed Day Challenge (Currently called Standard Day Challenge)
