This is my attempt at creating the most broken, degenerate deck possible (but on a budget.) This is what I came up with:

Casual Academy:

4 tolarian academy
4 city of brass
4 forbidden orchard
3 gemstone mine

4 lotus petal
4 mox diamond
4 mana crypt
4 sol ring
2 candleabra of tawnos
4 defense grid (more synergy than counterspells or abeyances)

2 mind over matter
4 stroke of genius (chose this over braingeyser in case i don't have defense grid in play)
4 windfall
4 wheel of fortune
4 time spiral
1 capsize (for the infinate mana combo w/the candleabra)
4 demonic tutor

What do you guys think? Can this be improved w/out ridiculously expensive power 9 cards and the such?

I think there was actually a thread on this a few months ago.

But one thing I would add would probably be minds desire. and maby a tendrils.  It has a possibility to fizzle you out if you hit strokes.  But its sooo good.

Insufficient information. As per the rules, you need to elaborate on card choices when posting a decklist. Also: the above poster is right; several threads on budget academy already exist. Please use the search function. Topic locked.
