Green tampers with mana, but blue tamper with land type. Furthermore, this card has a lot of memory issues associated with it, since each nonbasic land that comes into play after it hits the table may have a different basic land type. You might have each player choose a basic land type when this hits the table or during their upkeep and have each nonbasic land become that land type (the latter idea is very similar to [card]Hall of Gemstone[/card].) Also, while they're not identical, this seems rather similar to a card that was recently proposed (It has the correct wording for this kind of effect, by the way. I'm not sure if you can actually change the
nonbasic supertype into the
basic supertype, either. I mean, I suppose mechanically, you could, but that design never does so, despite having the opportunity.)
Lost Horizon

Enchant Land
Lost Horizon can enchant only a nonbasic land.
As Lost Horizon comes into play, choose a basic land type.
Enchanted land's type is the chosen type.
Sacrifice Lost Horizon: Each player may draw a card.
