Double Strike and Blocking

Two questions here. Before I say anything, I feel compelled to announce that I actually flipped Bushi Tenderfoot earlier today. Wow. Don't ask what he was doing in my deck... Ah-hem; moving on.
1. What does Double Strike actually do? For a concrete example, let's just say, theoretically, that I have Indominable Will on Kenzo (3/4, Double Strike, Bushido 2). If he's unblocked, does he do 4 (3 power + Will) or 8? I know the rules box is pretty crammed on that card, but some reminder text wouldn't hurt.
2. Can someone point me to where in the comprehensive rules it says that I'm allowed to declare two blockers to one attacker. I've spent the last 15 mins going through it and can't find it.
Thanks everyone!

1. Double-strike has the creature deal damage during both the First Strike Combat damage step and the regular combat damage step. An unblocked creature with double-strike will deal damage to the defending player twice. So, un unblocked 4/6 with Double-Strike will deal 8 damage total to the defending player.
2. Nothing really specifically states this off the top of my head. But, there is...
309.2a The defending player chooses zero or more creatures he or she controls, chooses one attacking creature for each one to block, then determines whether this set of blocks is legal. Only untapped creatures can block, but blocking does not cause creatures to tap. Other effects may also affect whether or not a set of creatures could block. (See rule 500, “Legal Attacks and Blocks.”)
Each creature can only block one attacker, but it does not state that you cannot declare more than one blocker per attacker.
And there is...
309.2f An attacking creature with
one or more
creatures declared as blockers for it becomes a blocked creature; one with no blockers becomes an unblocked creature. The creature’s status remains unchanged until the creature is removed from combat or the combat phase ends, whichever comes first. (Some effects can change a creature’s status.)
