Tinker is by far the most busted card in the environment right now. Will requires a couple turns to set up, but Tinker wins you the game as well--which is turn 1 a lot of the time.

I think it is impossible to determine the "best card in magic". Especially since you only list 4 cards. It is like with movies, you don't have a best one, just a top 10 that are all equally awesome.
Cards I am a huge fan of (speaking vintage of course):
Yawgmoth's Will Force of Will Black Lotus Ancestral Recall Time Walk Yawgmoth's Bargain Necropotence Mana Drain Tinker Demonic Tutor
These 10 cards usually enable me to start something awesome, or prevent something awesome happening across the table, which again is awesome for me. Making me choose is impossible, as all cards have their own circumstances where they are extremely good.

I'll just be boring and say Ancestral. I think one should be careful to distinguish between "best card" and "most potentially broken" card. Tinker, Will, 3Sphere, Balance, etc. are all potentially more broken at times but there are just some times that you don't want to see them, whereas the same can almost never be said of AR (except I guess when you're being Slaved).

Of those listed, I'm going with YawgWill, but overall it's probably got to be Ancestral do to its flexibility. There are black decks that don't use Will, Artifact decks that don't use 3Sphere, and white decks that...well, there aren't any white decks, but I can't even fathom a blue deck that doesn't have Ancestral, or wouldn't be improved with its addition.
As for the list, just as the type of player I am, Balance and 3Sphere don't even make my Top Ten, and the Sphere probably doesn't make my top twenty.

I suspect that this vote is an attempt to gather support for leaving Trinisphere unrestricted as its power level is so much lower than the other three it is sad.
YawgWill - the card that says I win more than any other and does it in a wide range of decks Balance - the card that says I don't lose more than any other. Balance has stopped more of us from losing games than any other card. Tinker - just baaroken so not in the same league as the above two.
Obviously Contract From Below is the most broken card ever, try playing the old computer game and see how even bad decks can win with new hands for only B.

Ancestral Recall Black Lotus
Should both be on this list... I would pick them both over any card listed accept maybe Yawg's will... and If i was looking at an opening hand I would want 1 of those 2 cards... FoW just missing my cut for 3rd... because its not great its just glue...

This is nonsensical. No definition for 'best' is given (or possible). All four cards can be horribly broken in the right deck and in the right situation. I suspect you want to know what we think is the most broken card most of all time, or possibly the one that won the most games or something.
However, since your lists is by no means exhaustive, the poll is rather meaningless.

In regards to the 4 cards that were posted above I would say Tinker followed VERY closely by Y. Will.
I think in the early game Tinker can cause alot more problems for your opponent, where Y. Will is more of a mid to late game card unless you are playing TPS or Belcher.
However I do feel that overall the card I want to see in my opening hand every game is A. Recall. Hands down one of if not the most powerful card in the game. It single handedly provides card advantage with minimal cost, while most of the time filling your hand with threats or answers.

You're all talking about broken cards. The VERY best cards are cards that are NEVEREVER dead. Ancestral Recall takes this one followed by Brainstorm.

Tinker currently is the most overrated card on the list by a mile... it is good, you cant argue that... but in the current metagame it is not that strong of a card... I love tinkering out a card to just have it welded out for the mox I just sacraficed... thats real broken...

OH LOOK, I can weld out your best arifact for Black Lotus.

Based on the thought process that was raised in regards to the "Best" card being a card that is NEVER dead would Black Lotus be ranked ahead of A. Recall?
I know that this is a truly subjective topic, but there are times where a Lotus does not provide anything more than the 3 mana. Granted in the right deck at the right time it can be devastating. However I have never been upset that I drew my A. Recall.
Just a thought.
