I challenged myself and my friends to attempt to build a deck with NO lands what so ever and still be a fully functional deck.  This is what I came up with.  This is my version of a Kobold Freeze deck.

Creatures

4X Crimson Kobolds
4X Crookshank Kobolds
4X Kobolds of Kher Keep
4X Shield Sphere
4X Ornithopter
4X Phyrexian Walker

Green

3X Recycle
4X Glimpse of Nature

Artifact Help

1X Claws of Gix
2X Spellbook

Blue

2X Brain Freeze

Black

2X Dark Ritual
2X Tendrils of Agony
1X Yawgmoth's Will
1X Demonic Tutor

Mana Sources

4X Elvish Spirit Guide
4X Jeweled Amulet
1X Mox Jet
1X Mox Ruby
1X Mox Sapphire
1X Mox Emerald
1X Mox Pearl
1X Chrome Mox
1X Lotus Petal
1X Black Lotus
1X Mana Crypt
1X Lion's Eye Diamond

I proxied most of this deck out and played it 50 times.  Of those 50 attempts, it won on turn 1 twelve times.

If this deck can get Recycle out first turn, or a Glimpse of Nature off, there is some serious card drawing and spell playing that this deck can do.

Jeweled Amulets are slow, however it's a Mox of any color every other turn.  If the deck doesn't win turn one, the Amulets usually help it win on turn 2.

Of course I could break down and put in 4 Trop Islands and take out the Amulets, however the idea was to build a deck with no lands and have it work.

Let me know what you guys think.

I think if you want the deck to work you need lands in it cause it is easy to beat with the way it is right now, but i dont even think it is worth trying to get good unless it is for just casual gaming

you play Zuran orb, and yet you have no lands.  One of the bigger problems I see, 4 force of will, 4 other blue cards.  Your engines are very vulnerable, if glimpse or recycle is countered, there are 32 dead cards in your deck until you get one online, and then, if you do resolve one, there's the imminent possibility of fizzling out, attempting to find one of only 4 blue sources in your deck.  I would reccomend adding 4 land grant, 1 tropical island, 1 bayou, necropotence, yawgmoth's bargain, dark rituals, and yawgmoth's will, as well as all the other good black stuff like tutors, I'd also suggest using tendrils of agony over brain freeze because you only need to storm to 10 with it.  You could also cut recycle for skullclamp which is alot cheaper.

Thanks for the suggestions.  However you gus are still missing the point of the post.  The challenge was to build a deck that worked that didn't run any lands what so ever.  Sure it could run a couple lands and land grant and rituals and such, but then the deck would have land.

Now I could definately cut the Zuron Orb, I think I meant that to be Claws of Gix.  The Forces are nice back up, but I only have 4 other blue cards, so they're not all that great.  I could cut two Brain Freeze for two Tendrils, and I haven't seen Gaea's Blessing run in Type 1 since the days of ZB.  I could throw in Dark Rituals, Mana Vault, Sol Ring, and a Belcher even.

Oath and Arcane Lab would be problems, however I could possibly get around them if I had the right cards.  Vedalken Orrery is expensive to get out, but would allow me to go off whenever.
