This may be randomly six pages back or something, but I'm curious. As Vintage Magic is the blingiest format alive, with the possible exception of 5Color or Skittles, Where do those of you who pimp your decks find the bling? I've done my fair share of searching online, on eBay and or random Magic websites, but the supply there is somewhat limited, and often overpriced by a wide margin. Do you go directly to the source (ie: Japan), or is there some hidden mecca I've missed?

The best place to go if you don't already have some kind of a hook up in Japan or China is Ebay. If you are patient you can usually find whatever you need.

There is no real secret. Getting pimp comes from a combination of 3 things. MONEY, LUCK, and Patience (sending cards to artists to alter etc.)...
However, if you dont have a lot of money to burn there is no chance of getting pimp, because EVERYTHING is inflated ALOT.

I sometimes work for a dealer over here... he's cheap and he can get almost anything. For the really rare stuff (such as foil Welders, Exalted Angel Judge Reward, etc.) you may have to be patient, but he can get it.

Aaron Jarvis is where my team got most of our pimp stuff. He's currently residing in Bumfuck, Kentucky. GenCon is also a great place to find pimpness.

Well, I have a contact in Japan (who doesn't speak English, obv), who supplies me with some things. He has trouble getting the older cards, but I have him looking for a few things for me. I hope to get a few more contacts this summer when I visit Japan.
Otherwise, I trade with people here and there and pick up stuff on ebay. Prices have been hit and miss on eBay as of late.
