Well, this is the thread I never thought I would write, but here goes -

With the surrent metagame consisting mainly of Control Slaver and other welder based decks it may be time to dust off what was once considered the ultimate foil to control slaver-

Oshowa Stompy

4x Hidden Gibbons
4x Wild Mongrel
4x Basking Rootwalla
4x Elvish Spirit Guide
4x Arrogant Wurm
4x Squee, Goblin Nabob
4x Null Rod
4x Survival of the Fittest
4x Root Maze
4x Bazaar of Baghdad
1x Black Lotus
1x Lotus Petal
1x Mox Emerald
1x Lion's Eye Diamond
4x Wasteland
1x Stripmine
11x Forest

With the proliferation of control slaver, this seems like it would be the correct deck to run. it has problems with storm-based combo, which is not very common right now.

What does everyone else think on this issue?

A thread needs more than just a decklist and a quick comment. Check the forum rules--particularly on content.

Closed, verbal warning.
