I've been tweaking this deck for a while now and it's been giving me good results. I'm looks to make it better without going broke.

The deck works by quickly generating 3BB for a Buried alive and Dance of the Dead in one turn. Usually I do that with Dark Ritual + Dark Ritual, or Dark Ritual + Mana Crypt, or Dark Ritual + Ancient Tomb. Yeah, Dark Ritual's kinda key for my deck.

4 Buried Alive

4 Dance of the Dead

1 Ambassador Laquatus
1 Caller of the Claw
2 Worldgorger Dragon

4 Bayou
4 Forbidden Orchard
6 Swamp
4 Ancient Tomb

4 Dark Ritual
1 Lotus Petal
1 Mana Vault
1 Sol Ring (When I get some $, this will be a Mana Crypt)
1 Mox Diamond

4 Spoils of the Vault
1 Demonic Tutor
1 Vampiric Tutor

4 Duress

Right now I'm wondering if I can swap a duress for a Xantid Swarm and easily access green mana. I'm also considering Red for Kumano, Master Yamabushi.

xantid swarm is absolutely crucial for this deck as you need to ensure your combo gets offf safely. without  blue and force they are needed. i can realistically say that without moxes and recall that blue probably isnt warranted. i really think you should look into elvish spirit guide as they are another way to get extra mana during a turn.
maybe you should also run verdant force main to give you extra beats. possibly 2.

Do you think I should replace something with Elvish Spirit Guide or just include 4 of 'em?

here is what the deck would look like if i were playing b/g budget dragon
4worldgorger dragon
1 ambassaor laquatus
3 verdant force
3 xantid swarm
3 animate dead
3 necromancy
2 dance of the dead
1 vampiric tutor
1 demonic tutor
3 buried alive
1 entomb
4 duress
4 jalum tomb
4 last rites
4 bayou
4 dark ritual
4 elvish spirit guide
3 ancient tomb
1 city of traitors( or the 4th tomb)
1 lotus petal
1 sol ring
1 mana crypt( you could use vault or chrome mox if you dont have it)
6 swamp

the other spots you could come with, like zombie infestation or putrid imp or something to get guys into the yard. though i dont like those cards really. you could also try adding in more reanimate spells/ guys and play a reanimator/ dragon deck

How does Verdant Force kill exactly? I realize that with Dance of the Dead it swings for 8, and later on it and the tokens swing for 9, but that doesn't win games exactly. I'm in a rogue metagame, so chumpblocking wouldn't do much. How does Verdant Force kill?

Verdant Force attacks a few times, and reduces your opponent's life total to 0. It can be useful, because if they have swords or bounce, you don't lose your entire board.

Also, your deck is 48 cards. That's totally unacceptable, so I'm closing this thread.
