Unfortunetly bad weather is preventing me (and about 8 other people I know) from attending this event... I hope the attendence doesnt suck, because then I would feel awful knowing that if I went I would have had a rather decent chance of top 8'ing... Kowal your soooo brave!

You guys can't make it to a tournament on Saturday, because it snowed on Thursday? We got snow yesterday too, but an amazing invention, called the plow, managed to solve that situation rather easily.

Plows dont fix Ice... and friends overbearing parents... (who I relied on coming to make hotels not cost a billion dollars).

Roads are frozen over. My brother lives in Ithaca which is close to Syracuse and he says it is still snowing up there and the roads are glazed with ice.

I wasn't sure about going, but the weather sealed the deal for me as well.

I'm in Ithaca right now looking at a beautiful blue sky and cars are driving safely on non-iced over roads. CNY is getting some snow tonight and tomorrow, but I don't think it will be enough to cause any significant trouble. http://www.news10now.com/content/weather/The lake snow they mention is most likely going to be north of Syracuse, and Cuse itself is going to get about 2-4 inches tomorrow which is nothing.

Dammit, good players need to go to make sure none of the White Weenie brats on SCG forums make it to T8.
(I am not implying anything about the people who have said they are going, but merely stating my hope that many good players will go to crush the Dead Deckers)

WTF with the general inability to deal with snow and ice over there. I'm guessing it snows there every winter for a period of time, right? Don't people have winter tyres for their cars? If it is a recurring yearly phenomenon, how come the public services and local population can't properly adjust?

UPDATE! On the way to get me, Brass' transmission bites the bed, we hopefully should still be arriving via myself. Cross your fingers everyone, Brassman, Samite Healer, (Brass' Friend) and Myself should all be arriving safely.

Why don't you come beat the DeadDecker since you want it done so badly? Anyways, I would come if I did'nt live in Canada, and knew other people that were going from Canada. Snow does'nt scare me if i'm not driving Perhaps in the coming months I will find out whos from Canada on here, and may be able to hitch a ride with them as long as it's not too costly for hotels and stuff, and not too far of a drive. I think Syracuse is only about 6-7 hours away, so maybe I can get a ride to the next one. P.S. to all the guys from Totonto and surrounding area that are going to the next P9 tourney, Msg me. I can and will pitch in for gas, hotel rooms and I definitly shower. I don't mind spending some cash for the chance to win power and play/meet some of the people on here.

Team Dead Deck At one point I had to make the choice of fixing the brakes on my car, or buying a signed/altered Ancestral Recall. Guess which I spent my money on. And everyone else has brakes. I've been fine so far!

Wait, there's a Team DeadDeck? More importantly, I should care about a deck with no clock and little disruption?
