Card name
2BB
Creature - Priest
When ~this is in play~, if a card would be put into your graveyard, remove that card from the game instead.
Once per turn, you may play a nonland card in your graveyard as though it was in your hand. Play this ability only when you could play a sorcery.

Ok, it's obvious I tried to replicate Yawgmoth's Will effect, no doubt about it. But we all know it is super broken. So it's necessary to weaken it.

First, by limiting it to one card a turn, we weaken the effect a lot.

Second, to prevent mana abuse, lands have to be taken out of the equation. No recurring stripping effects. Crucible exists just for that.

Third, we have to make it weak. Making it 1/1 is very weak. 0/1 might be even more judicious.

Fourth, cards have to be removed from the game when this guy is in play. Even those sent to the graveyard by normal means. This means you have to hold to this guy before you play it.

Finally, no instant shit. Only during your turn hence the sorcery speed.

Current wording:

Card name
2BB
Creature - Priest
When ~this is in play~, if a card would be put into your graveyard, remove that card from the game instead.
Once per turn, you may play a nonland card in your graveyard as though it was in your hand. Play this ability only when you could play a sorcery.

This is just Yawgmoth's Agenda on legs. Even with instants, judging by the lack of play Agenda got, this would be fine.

It's a lot like Agenda, except that you can still play cards in your hand, so you're not limited to one spell a turn. In fact, this is a lot powerful than Agenda, but not broken.

Is there really a call for this, seeing as Yawgmoth's Agenda and Forbidden Crypt both exist? Especially after factoring in that new black guy in Betrayers, I don't think this really mines any valuable design space. Is there some way we could make a twist on this effect to make it more interesting?

I was thinking he could CIP and the opponent names a card type, and you can play cards of that type in your graveyard (and youd only have to remove from the game cards of that type).

Perhaps add an entomb effect on him so that you could play the thing he fetches?

I'd like to imprint My Cock on that. If she handles it right, it makes white mana.
