Hello everyone I have been a "user" of linux for a long time now I am attempting to actually become more knowledgable. I am running suse 9.1 and have just intalled all my video drivers. I am just wondering what some really good step by step resources might be for basic system set up and such.
Cheers,
Jazzy

Depends on your type of video card. I've given up on Red Hat for awhile now (and have primarily switched to Gentoo). They have a lot of great HOWTOs on their site, just give it a perusal and you should be able to find what you're looking for.

For starters... what kind of video card and which version of X are you using? XF86free, or X.org?
