I don't like the name very much, but I was thinking, at a certain point drawing cards would become a drawback, since you'll deck yourself. So really, after about 30 or so cards, the cost of the spell shoudl go down, not up. So I had a card: UU-Draw sixty cards. The problem with this is it could easliy combo with just about any deck that wins in one turn (Neo-Academy, Psycatog). SO I had an enchanment version that read "During your upkeep, draw thirty. You may only untap one land per turn" but that could easily get disenchanted, giving the person a huge advantage. An indestructible version happened, but this was too confusing (It would have to be an artifact to be indestructible, so Ravager could eat it.) Then it became an Epic, but that means you cna't play the spells you draw. Finally, I ended up with this version:
Greed's End B Sorcery Draw forty cards. You lose forty life.
I like this version the most, but I could make it this:
Greed's End B Sorcery As an additional cost to play Greed's End, pay fourty life. Draw Forty cards
Or this:
Greed's End 2B Sorcery Draw forty cards. At end of turn, lose fourty life.
Anyway, which version do you like? Does it still combo too well? If it's a junk rare, fine, That's how its designed. I just don't want it to be too easily abused.
Greed's End B Sorcery Draw forty cards. You lose forty life. And in the end, the ones who desire the most, shall find what they seek, but alas! At what cost? - Song of All, Final Canto
