Something much needed for t1, a turn 0 card other than Force of will.... and I suppose MisD also:

Rainbow Elf (No gags about homosexual elves please!)
G
Creature Elf
Sacrifice Rainbow Elf: Add one mana of any color to your mana pool.
Channel 0: Add one mana of any color to your mana pool.

So it's 100% better than Elvish Spirit Guide (any color) AND Lotus Petal (can be a creature if needed)? No way.

Well only one of those is restricted. So how about 1G for a 2/1, and add 1 life to the channel cost?

I would like to design a card that could actually help solve the turn 0 problem in type 1. Any suggestions?

The main problem you will encounter is that the cards you would design to help non turn 0 decks to fight turn 0 decks will almost always help turn 0 decks even more. The initial card you designed is ridiculously strong and would probably be played as a 4-off in every single turn 0 combo deck.

Unluckyman's Paradise

Land
If Unluckyman's Paradise is in your opening hand and you're not playing first, you may begin the game with it in play. If you do, Unluckyman's Paradise comes into play with a luck counter on it.
Tap: Add 1 to your mana pool.
Tap: Add one mana of any color to your mana pool. Play this ability only if Unluckyman's Paradise has a luck counter on it.

Actually.... I dont like that invitational card. I think its clunky. I also think that there should be a more elegant solution to this problem. Of course, once development has tweaked it it will be better, I guess.

This started as an instant, and then I slapped the elf thing on it, because I remembered that channel is only on creatures. Toad is right, you cant solve the turn 0 problem using mana acceleration, because that simply helps the turn 0 decks as well. I just dont want to make a bad version of Force of Will.... although, what choice do I have?
