I was wondering a little something...I've read this somewhere, but wanted to know wether you could/could not do this:

Your opponent is at 12 Life, and you're at 3. You have UUUUUU open. He plays a Pulse of the Forge, and you Twincast it. Will the Twincast come back to your hand, thus giving you the opportunity to Twincast it again, and then again for the win? I'm pretty sure it will comeback, just wanted a confirmation! Thanks!

No, Twincast will not come back.  Twincast does not become a copy of the original Pulse, it simply puts a copy of Pulse onto the stack.  When the copy resolves, it tries to come back to your hand, but this proves to be very difficult since the copy cannot exist in any zone other than the stack.

Then why did one of the writers on mtg.com say that twincast would come back if it copies a pulse of the forge? I thought he was wrong, but if mtg.com said it.

If you need me to look up the article, just ask.

MTG.com writers do make mistakes. They don't triple-check everything in every article.

Well technically the copy of the Pulse of the Forge gets back to your hand Wink

It will be RFG when SBE are checked though.
