I have a question about a combo I've been wanting to make a deck around but i don't know if it works.  What i do is fill a deck with zero drop artifacts with a Chalice of the Void with zero counters on it. Have a multani's presence out and have all my zero drops countered. Draw insane cards and end it with a Tendrils of Agony.  I don't know whether the countered spell are still on the stack or not since they've been countered.  Can you guys help me out on this? Thanks

When you play a Kobold or whatever, it goes on the stack. Then Chalice triggers and the ability also goes on the stack. When Chalice's triggered ability resolves, the Kobold will be countered and put in the graveyard. Then M.P. will trigger and go on the stack, and when THAT resolves, you draw a card. Repeat as you will. So yes, this combo works.

Outside of [card]Vedalken Orrery[/card], there is no way to get more than one 0-mana creature on the satck at the same time.

And Winding Canyons, but that's just nit-picking Very Happy. That said, Orrery costs 4, and Canyon is free and uncounterable, so it might be more useful in the context of a Kobolds deck if playing creatures at instant speed is important.

On the other hand, glimpse of nature does something pretty similar but with less combo pieces.
