Back in the game (maybe)

Hi, I haven't played since 8th edition first came out, and was thinking about dusting some of my old stuff off.  Has much changed since then?  Also, have they reprinted any T1 goodies in any of the latest sets or came out with any new stuff that is worth playing?  Has the T1 tourney scene improved at all?  Thanks and hope to see you at a tourney soon!
