I'm leaving for Case in a little more than a week, and I was just wondering what the Vintage scene in Cleveland is like. Are there any decent playtest groups lookiing for another member? What tournaments are good to attend? etc.

From what I remember, there are tournaments up there from time to time. I know that JP Meyer and Jason Stinnett both got their heels dug into Vintage at Case, so maybe you'll find a group. If nothing else and you're able to make it to Columbus, you could test with Meandeck : )

I'm not actually sure if Cleveland has a Vintage scene.  Whenever I played Vintage there, it was with the teammates that I brought in.  But we've all been gone for a while.

There is a store here on the west side (Compendium Games in Rocky River) that runs 5-proxy Vintage tournaments every Thursday. That said, I don't know what kind of a crowd they draw nor the quality of the opponents you'll find there. Two or four times a year they run a Mox tourney, but I understand that even then they don't always get the minimum number of people to actually give away the Mox. You can look at their web site if you want more information: www.compendiumohio.com

Did you know that Red is the color or art and music and passion? Combine that with Green, the color of nature, spiritualism, and community and you get a hippie commune of drum circles, dreamcatchers, and recreational drug use. Let's see that win a Pro Tour.
