Renewed Vigor

Enchantment -- Aura
Enchant permanent
Change the text of enchanted permanent by replacing all instances of "Play this ability only once each turn" with "Play this ability any number of times per turn."

Wording taken from Mind Bend. Technically I didn't have to replace it with anything but I figured this would make it clear what the card is supposed to do.

Chronatog, I suppose. [card]Patron of the Orochi[/card]. Wall of Roots? Also Goblin S.W.A.T. Team from Unhinged. Nothing that can't be dealt with by Dark Banishing.

But I think at five mana, gold, possible card disadvantage, and in the worst color combination it won't truly break a damn thing.

if it breaks cards too much what about altering it to be

it does fundementally alter the card but to restrict its power level that might be good.

About the most broken it gets is Instill Energy, Mudslide or untapping Locus Swarm, or the almighty Nature's Chosen (which does the same thing as the Green Patron).  There are a bunch of pump creatures which become better, but nothing I can tell breaks.  With that in mind I might even suggest going down to 2GW - you're in two colors already, so 4 mana isn't bad considering how little you get from it, unless the Master List changes some things.

Truth be told, although silvernail's modification changes the nature of the card, I think it's more interesting. I don't know if there are power concerns or not, but it does prevent this from letting anything go infinite.

I agree and at X=0 you get to hose already bad cards with a GW Aura!!

Isn't this card more than a little weak? Couldn't it cantrip or something?

How about making it what used to be called a Global Enchantment so that it affects all permanents?

I definitely don't want this to be a global enchantment. I'd also rather lower the cost than tack on a random cantrip.

The original should cost WG rather than 3WG IMHO. 2 card combos with 1 Creature and 1 Aura that don't win you the game aren't very dangerous.

XWG has some appeal as it could be used to shut down abilities although that kind of mucks up the name.

Yeah, that's the main reason I don't like the XWG thing. Such a card would be cool but names are the hardest thing to come up with and I want to ride this pony.

Agreed, you could probably drop it to 1WG or 2WG.  Other than that, I really like it.
