We will start registration at about 11am and we can start around noontime.

CALL IF YOUR GONNA COME

Wll this is VERY short notice but I talked to Dave and since there is nothing else going on this weekend without driving to the midwest we are going to do a tournament on sunday for anyone who wants to show up and play.

Everyone knows that we do some pretty good tournaments so even without me posting a prize fund we will do cards and a top 8 based on how many people show up!!!

So if you are up to playing in a tournament in your area come down and see us!!!

Hatch

Ps we will still be doing next weeks tournament

Because I'm bad at following directions, I'm going to say that I'm going by posting in this thread.

I already called to let Dave know I'll be coming, because I'm just that cool.  But, I should note, I will be playing a pile of immense suckitude this week, and I expect to do no better than 3-2 with it.  If I top eight with this shit, I'm never going to respect any of you as players ever again.  :p

I should be able to make this, and I know there'll be some additional 'hadley' representation

This ended with me beating Grand Inquisitor in the finals.  It was a fun little event.  Only 19 showed up, but it was cheap, the atmosphere was light, and teched out SSB pwninated the room.

Here's a QnD.

Round One:  Sui
He plays Negator, so I block it with a giant dude.
He plays Negator, so I shoot it with Goblin Charbelcher.

Round Two:  Stax
He resolves some stuff, so I belch him for a lot.
He resolves Choke, so I belch him for a lot.

Round Three:  Oath
This was my loss.  Game one I mulled to six and found an academy hand, but he vamped for his own Academy and left me landless.
Game two I get stalled on two lands and can't draw things that cost less than four.  Frown.

Round Four:  Stax
I drain some stuff and combo out pretty easily.
I Rack and Ruin some stuff and combo out pretty easily.

Round Five:  ID with GI playing Sensei/r

Top Eight:  Smmenen Gifts
Game one I resolve Yawgmoth's Will.
Game two I resolve Tinker.

Top Four:  Control Slaver
Game one I get some pretty retarded acceleration and start chaining draw spells before he can set up his hand or develop a board position.
Game two I drop library on the draw.

Finals:  Sensei/r
I drain some stuff, force of will a future sight, and then Demonic for Will and do some broken junk.
I resolve Tinker.

EDIT:  Remembered round two.

Good times everyone.  Thanks to Hatch 'n crew for giving us something to do last minute.  Thanks Kowal for kicking me in the nuts in the finals; after having only one game loss all day (in the semis) I was actually starting to think Sensei is still good.  Although it was a small tournamant, it's worth mentioning that the artists formerly known as Hadley took 6 of the T8.  Oh yeah, and Fucking Bowers is back (at least for a little while)!
