There's no particular reason why I chose to make this an organgutan, of all of the apes I could have chosen. I made it relatively small, since even gorillas are typically only 2/3 - 3/3. I happen to like a great many Grizzly Bear variants. This particular card is almost certainly worse than Lone Wolf. I could make it Pack 2, especially since apes are hardly overwhelming as a tribe, but Pack 3 seemed more appropriate. Thematically, it seemed that it would take more than one other ape to distract an opponent's blockers.

I know this card isn't very exciting, but I'd like somebody to tell me, "Gee Ephraim, that's a swell/adequate/awesome Bear variant." before I start the 24 hour clock.

Way to necro a dead thread

Um, somehow I forgot to comment.  Lone Wolf is 2G for having that ability standard.  On a power level it's fine - a 2/2 for 1G is the kind of aggressive creature we need and the ability fits just fine.

On a flavor level - how do Apes of any sort lurk?  I can imagine I guess a bunch of Orangutans making a fit to let one slip through, but that's coordination of a sort I didn't realize they did/were capable of.  You'd need good flavor text on this one to help convey the flavor (especially with a lack of art).

notes: "Shrewdness" is the name for a collective of apes. And yes, orangutans are omnivorous. They will eat meat.
