Not exactly classic, but I really liked TurboNevyn before the Gro-a-tog gush restriction.  It was just so fun to win with crap like sickening dreams...

Draw-Go, my crappy budget (budget for type 2 standards even) version of it was dominant over the even more crappy decks that the people I knew played Very Happy.

this is the list for my circa 1994 deck that I actually played back in the day, and it's what I will run at waterbury...

12 swamp
1 mishra's workshop
4 strip mine
1 erg raiders
4 juggernaut
2 black vise
4 nether void
4 mana vault
1 mox ruby
1 mox emerald
4 paralyze
1 black lotus
4 howling mine
1 chaos orb
1 sol ring
4 icy manipulator
4 dark ritual
4 sinkhole
1 mox sapphire
1 mox jet
1 mox pearl

The best possible starting hand goes like this :  swamp, dark ritual, mana vault, black vise, nether void, go.

I played this deck without power way back in the day at matt's sports cards in enfield, ct!

I'd like to imprint My Cock on that. If she handles it right, it makes white mana.

Sligh. Seriously, it was my favorite deck. And when TnT came out, it became TnT. Those two decks were insanely fun to play. I don't know when I switched from playing aggro to control/prison. It kinda feels like I copped out. Confused I had so much fun sandbagging 2 firblast + 2 bolt against necro decks and wrecking their house, or sitting on 2 PoP and 4 REB against old school keeper.

I await the triumphant return of Negator to the upper tiers. Someday...

I liked playing keeper style decks but I always had a burn deck sleeved for when I got tired of playing the passive role. Burn mirror matches are great fun also and they take ridiculously little time to play. I even experimented with combining burn and control without much succes Smile
