Whenever you play a spell, if that spell's converted mana cost is equal to the number of cards in your hand, you gain that much life.

Shh... Don't tell anybody, but this card is really bad. As far as I can see, life gain isn't good enough to waste time 1. casting this spell or 2. play carefully enough to eke much benefit out of it. I see this as a positive thing because this is just the sort of card that Johnnies clamor to break. Oh, I know, right now, they have their hands full with One With Nothing, but once they finish with that, they'll realize that this card is a
real challenge.
Joking aside, I really enjoyed Saviors' "hand size matters" theme so I've been thinking of ways to tinker with it. Like all life gain cards, this one is typically going to see very little play. On the other hand, if one is going to be gaining life, it might as well be the result of doing something one does anyway (in this case, casting spells -- similarly, Spirit Link is interesting because it gains life by means of attacking.)
