Hey,
Ill be headed up to UCSC this friday, so naturally I'll be checking out the bay area MTG scene since there is nothing in Santa Cruz. Anyone got some info for me, Local MTG shops/meeting places/tourney locations?
See ya around.

well cupertino has Superstars which holds Power tournaments from time to time...the SF bay area also has several other shops that support T1, such as Whoson1st in Dublin and Eudemonia in Berkely (I know, not exactly right in Santa Cruz or anything...)
just thought id let you know some of the bay area stuff...

Exotic? Aren't you only like two days' march from France? He's about 10 hours by train from Paris, plus a few more to go from Amsterdam to Eindhoven. :D

There must have been something wrong with your train then. Or maybe our landscape bored you so much that it seemed longer The TGV takes 4h 9m to get from Amsterdam to Paris. I need to travel about 1h 30m to get to Amsterdam. What I meant to say is that Santa Cruz and Bay Area is the stuff I hear about in TV shows and shit. These used to be my primary (though undoubtedly flawed) source of input on American culture. Even though this function has now been replaced by TMD*, place names I've heard on soap operas and sitcoms still really get me going *= it's not that you guys are so good at educating me about contemporary US culture; it's just that I don't watch TV anymore.
