Take em' outside
U
Sorcery
You and target oppoent both skip your next turns.
Draw a card.

I like the idea of making cards with multiplayer games in mind, however this might be a little too useless in 1on1 play.  That's why I tacked the draw a card onto it, so that it wasn't a total waste.

Current Version:
Time Out
{U}
Sorcery
Target opponent skips his or her next turn. That player chooses an opponent. That player skips his or her next turn
Draw a card.

I like it, but I can't think of a way for this to be made more useful for 1 on 1 play.

Wizards should come up with a "Multiplayer" set, where drafts are done with like, nine mans, and there are 3 players in a game and most of the cards revolve around multiplayer abilities.

That, would kick ass.

Isn't this really bad in multiplayer, though? It'd be much better (although much more brutal) as "two target players skip their next turns", with reminder text that you have to target yourself in a duel.

I kind of like this. I think I missed it when it was originally posted.

That wording seems ambiguous.  "That player chooses an opponent" ?  Who's opponent is unclear.  When I read that card I would think that If I played it, I could not be the secondary player chosen... because I am not my own opponent.

"Target opponent skips his or her next turn.  Then that player chooses target player, that player skips his or her turn."  That actually could see play in a duel Esp with something like True Believer... becasue It would cause your opponent to skip two turns... Sick tech in WU fish.  If you think thats two broken then...

"Target opponent skips his or her next turn.  Then that player chooses a (target?) player other than him or herself, and that players skip his or her next turn."

It may be confusing, but it's not actually ambiguous. The "opponent" wording works the way we want it to, but if you think it will confuse players, then that's a seperate issue.
