So apparently some folks got together and decided to have a contest and edit old movie trailers to make them look like different movies altogether. This was the winner: http://www.ps260.com/molly/SHINING%20FINAL.mov (might take a while to load, since that site has been getting a ton of hits between yesterday and today). Funny stuff.

I nearly soiled myself when the cheesy music came in, Smile.

What is it with people with weak bladder control on this site...

But indeed, that trailer was awesome. When will it be in cinemas?

Here are links to some other ones from that same competition:

- Titanic as a horror movie: http://www.ps260.com/elfollador/Scary%20Titanic.mov

- West Side Story as, essentially, 28 Days Later: http://www.ps260.com/Trailer/westsidestorytrailer_small.mov

- The Parent Trap as a lesbian love story: http://www.moondogedit.com/ (click on Paul Lacalandra, and then on "Ordinary Girls")

Wow, that's just brilliant. I'll show it to my girlfriend, so maybe she'll watch the shining with me. She thinks it's some kind of scary movie.

No room in the house exceeds a length of twenty-five feet, let alone fifty feet, let alone fifty-six and a half feet, and yet Chad and Daisy's voices are echoing, each call responding with an entirely separate answer. In the living room, Navidson discovers the echoes emanating from a dark, doorless hallway which has appeared out of nowhere in the west wall.

Funny you should say that, because that's exactly what I'm trying to do, Smile! But seriously, my girlfriend has seen bits of The Shining, but never the whole thing, but thanks, in part, to this spoof she's agreed to finally sit down with me and watch the whole thing. She's petrified of movies with any kind of zombies in them (like, say, Dawn of the Dead, 28 Days Later, etc.), but I think she'll be fine with The Shining.

Speaking of Shining-spoofs, here's another funny one I found: http://www.angryalien.com/0504/shiningbunnies.html. That website, http://www.angryalien.com/, has a lot of "Movie X in 30 seconds, re-enacted by bunnies", and they're all pretty good. Pulp Fiction and Highlander are two other good ones...
