I am now considering to change my Meandeck to Salvager Oath. What do you think of this idea?
Pros for Meandeck are, it has a very good creature base and really has in my oppinion the better counterwall+ duress.

Pros for Salvager are, the ability to abuse tinker which is really strong against fish, the ability to win very fast with Salvager. Another strong point for Salvager are in my oppinion the Furnaces and the aether spellbombs, which are great against every deck which abuses tinker collossus.

In a Combo heavy i would prefer Meandeck but in the others Salvagers seams stronger what do you think?

If I were going to play any version of Oath, I'd go for the Choke-Oath variants.  A counter-suite never felt quite right to me in Oath, it plays better as straight combo with non-counter disruption.  I don't think that Salvager's Oath can be that good right now.  It just gets hosed by too many cards that are played in Type 1 right now, giving it a horrible matchup against Stax, and to a lesser extent, Fish (with Null Rod and Chalice).

I know the problems after sideboarding, but i think in game 3 it should be no problem against there artifact hate with the normal creature setting or?

His point was that it is a tough game before sideboards as well, though you still tinker a freaking DSC, so I don't see the problem. You don't _have_ to combo out to win with salavagers oath,a nd it gives you many tools to work with over the regular akroma/spirit oath lists that a counter wall might not be able to deal with.

I have seen salvagers oath do amazing things in an aggro environment, and even battle against null rod. Right now you have amazing cards such as life from the loam at your disposal to really break out tech. Oath needs serious re-evaluations, as I do not know if the current variations are actually the best oath can be.

*edit* I should read my own words before I post, oi!

Both are outdated.

I thought GWS and us (ICBM) have proven the best oath lists.

TMD Rules are here: http://www.themanadrain.com/forums/index.php?topic=18027.0

Note in particular the prohibition against decklist requests, and rule #4.
