Exactly what it sounds like. http://www.pvk.ca/misc/hideposts.tmd.user.js  is a greasemonkey (0.6.4) script for Firefox 1.5. It'll let you selectively ignore posts by certain users by clicking on the "(ignore)"/"(unignore)" bit and hide/unhide specific posts by clicking around the [ignored] poster's nickname.

To install it, you need http://www.mozilla.com/firefox/ Firefox 1.5 and http://greasemonkey.mozdev.org/ Greasemonkey 0.6.4. Then, go to http://www.pvk.ca/misc/hideposts.tmd.user.js and click on the "Install" button (right of the screen, just below the address bad).

Well, this seems interesting.  It might solve some problems, for sure, but on the other hand, it can make arguments a bit difficult (you could end up with someone repeating a person they're ignoring).

It's an interesting bit of software, Sylvester.  It generates its own set of problems, though. Sometimes, you'll be ignoring somebody and you'll both have the same idea and you'll end up replicating the post of the person you're ignoring.

Feh. As long as everyone within an interacting group ignores the same set of people, we're all right Wink

It's weird no one has posted in this thread yet though Mr. Green

It seems you've posted the same thing I just did.  Hmm...does that mean I'm being ignored?  Wink  Let's see if this works...um...casual Magic is for chumps!

I like his posts too, but I don't get the funny of this particular one. And, I'm using the /ignore as well.

Hey Sylvester, it doesn't look like anyone is interested in your program, which is kind of sad because I really enjoy it. One piece of advice though, watch the double post if you read the forum rules you will see that the moderators frown on such things.

Have you everheard one kid tell a joke and then all the other kids around him think it's so funny that they all tell it to one another over and over again for an hour or two and then it isn't funny anymore?

Ephraim. You were the first and the best. Imitation merely shows the quality of the original. Kind of like the CCF and Wizards R&D. Has anyone noticed how Wizards have started making better cards since we started the CCF?
