Bond of Agony  X B
Sorcery
As an additional cost to play Bond of Agony, pay X life.  Each other player loses X life.

Am I completely missing something here or does this card make Channel / Fireball of old seem like a 20 piece complex combo?  Could a Type 2 game simply be:

T1: Opponent drops an untapped Shockland and plays a spell (18 life)
T1: I play a Swamp, cast Bond of Agony paying 18 of my 20 life and win?

In a Type 1 game something similar could happen except replace Shockland with Fetchland and insert a FOW war in there somewhere, as well.

This has to be a spoiler error or I'm just not interpreting it correctly.  I could see it costing XXB.

RTFC?

There's an X in the casting cost, making this not as good as it would seem. It looks like you pay 5B, lose 5 life and get everyone else for 5.

Duh, thank you.  Not enough coffe today.  That's exactly it.  For some reason I was thinking the X was just life.  But, it is pay 5B + 5 life ..opponent loses 5 life.  Wow.  Back to sleep for me!

Hatred for B and no creature required would be kinda good, eh?

As it is, junk.
