So Blue, the colour of mental power, can't handle X+1?
Are you saying you approve of Niv-Mizzet's flavor text?

You can't possibly hate Niv-Mizzet's flavor text!

And...I think the best solution for this card is the X+1. Just because they don't do it often doesn't mean wizards wouldn't print a card that is most elegantly printed with X+1 in it.

Besides, this just opens the door for card submissions that deal XX-1 divided by 3, rounded up, amounts of damage to things. And who wouldn't want to see that?  Razz

Borborygmos wouldn't.

Did you know that Red is the color or art and music and passion? Combine that with Green, the color of nature, spiritualism, and community and you get a hippie commune of drum circles, dreamcatchers, and recreational drug use. Let's see that win a Pro Tour.

I come from a country that teaches Maths rather than Math. The ability to understand plurals is very useful.

Yes, I do approve of Niv-Mizzet's flavour text. It is original, fits the card and as a one-off I can live with it. Then again, given my Maro-esque track record of writing flavour text (Focus Mind aside), perhaps I'm not the best person to ask.

This card would be such a last pick in the draft.

I love it.  Do it.

This card would be such a last pick in the draft.

At least it could be used to remove the other last pick's from your deck Very Happy

Cant really see why anyone would play this thing, though! But then again, they DID print one with nothing.

Lets give Focus Mind a long overdue 24 hour clock

This is another card that received a 24-hour clock and then was never added to the master list or shot down
