Hi all. My name is KC Keel and this is where I type out what happened so I can re-live some stupid losses.

So I woke up and had to work before hand so we were very rushed getting to pande. I got there and was not happy to find no Isamarus to buy. Luckily I traded for them almost immediately after that failed attempt. While I was at the counter I picked up my 4th rule of law. Soon after the tournament ensued and this is what I attacked with:

4 Exalted Angel
3 Isamaru, HOK
2 Savannah Lions
4 Soltari Priest
4 Silver Knight
3 Umezawa's Jitte
2 Sword of F/I
3 Tithe
3 Chrome Mox
4 Mother of Runes
2 Disenchant
2 Mask of Memory
3 Parallax Wave
4 Swords to Plowshares

4 Ancient Tomb
13 Plains

SB:
3 Armageddon
4 Rule of Law
2 Disenchant
1 Parallax Wave
4 Tormod's Crypt
1 Sacred Ground

I am not going to explain anything about the choices cause I did that in the proven forum under "Angel Stompy". But here is how my matches went:

Round 1: Chris - Mono-Black Beats

So this was complete jank. It ran infernal kirin and infectious host. I won 2-0 and didn't side anything...Breeze.

2-0

Round 2: Rich - High Tide

This match-up is pretty tough for me but I was glad to be able to test out my savage sideboard for it. Game one he had plenty of time while all I had was the fierce push of 2 mothers. Yea I lost that one. Game two I side in armageddon and rule. I sided out swords and wave. I landed a rule followed by 2 armageddons while sitting on a jitte'd lion. He scooped a turn after the second geddon. Game three was closer but not close enough...I didn't see any of my sideboard so it was down hill from a remanded equipment. Brain freeze ensued soon after.

1-2

Round 3: Rob - Legacy Boros/Burn

This was a complete walk. He tried sideboarding ensnaring bridge but I saw him play it against my teamate earlier and sided in the other disenchants and dealt with those easily. This was yet again an easy win. He swords' a few things too but that didn't help him enough. Too many creatures to target. No sideboarding the whole match.

2-0

Round 4: Jeff - Confidant

So this is kinda a funny story. I played this guy in round 4 AND in the quarterfinals of the top 8. So here is the 4 games. Game 1 was by far the closest when he popped tomb of urami for a 5/5 flying beater. Luckily I was able to remove a jitte counter to gain 2 which gave me enough time to draw a swords. Whew. I barely won that won when he ran out of steam. Game 2 he vindicated quite a few things but eventually I had sword of F/I and jitte on a mother...Yep. Game 3/1 of top 8, I laid down an angel very early and never went below 20. Rape. Game 4/2, I went down to 18 from a hypnotic specter but ultimately ended that game with 26 life thanks to an angel and paralaxx wave. For the 2 "second" games I sided out a disenchant for another paralaxx wave. Also take note that he lost to confidant in 2 of those games...

4?-0...2-0 and 2-0

Semis: Matt - High Tide = My Favorite

Game one I mulligan down to 5 which still didn't have land but had 2 mothers and I was like "whatever". I is almost impossible for me to win without geddon and rule anyway. So With that hand I didn't draw a land till my turn 3 which ended up being a tomb...Yay? I played a mask and lost right after. Game 2 I sided in the same stuff I did against Rich. This game was brutal. 2 rules and a geddon plus sword of f/i on isamaru. The End. Game three I kept a hand with 1 plains because it had a rule and 2 geddon in it. The game lasted 10 turns. I did not see another land the whole game. I saw a chrome mox around turn 8. The end for that too.

1-2

So I walked with 4th and $15 store credit which I added $5 to so I could complete our set of taigas. I also picked up a mogg fanatic and 2 kird apes. For some reason we didn't have a set of those. I was good day in all but I would have liked not getting land screwed. My teamate who got 3rd got us 2 fetch lands as well so that helps...The End.

Have you considered splashing Blue for Meddling mage with the large amount of combo running around?  It also can be quite helpful to stall B/W which can be problematic for most any deck. (You also get Brainstorm)

Yea I would consider that if I didn't beat B/W 2-0 in the last round and the quarterfinals for a total of 4-0. Plus, what do you take out? Nothing is bad enough to take out for mage. Also, brainstorm doesn't always get you lands like tithe.
