Someone can count up and let me know where I'm at.  By my count I've written 89 articles.

What should I do for my 100th article?  Any suggestions?

Naked pictures of famous people.

That is so easy to discover that it suggests conspicuousness or little need for perspicacity in the observer.

Hival FTW.

Anyways...how about a standard recap of your old articles.  Which is your favorite?  Which was the hardest to write?  Which is the best in your opinion (not necessary the same as favorite, but maybe)?  Were you ever wrong?  Did some predictions made in an article come true?  Did none of them?

Do a deck breakdown with the strengths and weaknesses of the decks of this moment.

Magic: The Puzzling with Long.dec
If there is a guaranteed win, then the puzzles really won't be that difficult. The "what is the best play here" discussions are interesting because you have to estimate the relative power of, say, casting Brainstorm versus Duress, or how to play a three tutor hand versus an unknown opponent. When you give players all the necessary information, there are no complex decisions to be made, which makes the questions a lot less interesting. I don't think such an article would be much fun.

Instead of making it about magic and your decks, why not make it about you for a change?

Good luck on that one. He's got a National Treasure-level conspiracy to suppress all mentions of her.

My favorite coverage moment:

Quote
"Hey, I got the bye" shouted Probasco when he heard the Featured Match call. Menendian glared at him and the glare only worsened when Probasco asked, "Hey Steve, how's your sister doing lately?" referencing rumors that somehow Menendian's parents DNA in female form produced a hottie of appreciable proportions.

For your 100th article you should write an article demanding the unrestriction of Fact or Fiction; and succeed.

I second that sentiment. Make it a MaRo type thing, where you explore how lessons you learned in magic were applicable elsewhere in life, and vice versa. Do it so that people who know you, will be amused and people who don't, can still learn something about the game.

...or do a mailbag column!

No doubt you recieve fan/hatemail. Discuss it! Some serious questions which you delve into, mixed with some idiotic questions/remarks that you reply to with your singular wit (I'm assuming you have a singular wit here; I still don't have premium).

By the way, congrats. A 100 articles is no small feat. That's more that I've been writing as a science journalist (and yours tend to be a lot longer, too ;-) Let's list serious suggestions and make it into a poll.

Quote
- Recap of old articles (...personal favorite, hardest to write, which predictions came through and which ones failed?)
- Magic: The Puzzling with a cool Long.dec play (...it was to be a REALLY cool and hard play, obv.)
- State of the format
- Current decks breakdown
- All About Steve (...where you explore how lessons you learned in magic were applicable elsewhere in life, and vice versa)
- Re-write your first article (...and link to the original to show evolution as a writer/player)
- Mailbag column (response to fan and hatemail, serious and funny parts)
