Jesus, that guy that plays U/R Slaver made another top 8. Granted it was a small field, but still. Its weird, but kinda impressive that a Slaver deck without Will can do well consistantly.

I'm glad to see my juggernaut sb didnt go to waste. out of the 7 decks that resembled stax 6 had juggernauts between main or the board, and 2 people piloted my list within a couple cards. Its good to see stax making a comeback.

My sideboard (5th place, day 1) has 2 Servitors that should be Enforcers.

Ok, Day 2 is going to have a lot of peoples names mispelled. Vintage players' handwriting got a lot worse since Rochester. I can usually make out the cards, but I have no idea on names. If you're name is misspelled, you probably have terrible handwriting Notes: 10th place Slaver deck has 0 Drains and 4 counterspells--that is not a typo People that typed their decklists--you guys rock Hi Ben Carp. Thanks for the note The original name for Becker's deck is "Phil sux" Jeremy Sauld's deck was originally named "Bend it like Becker" Way less Kataki this tournament. Thank you guys. I hate typing that card Nobody is a cheater this time. Hooray! 1 person made top 8 both days--Nate. Tommy Kolowith and Eric Becker got 9th and 10th day 1 and made top 4 day 2. Tons of Ravager and 0 Bomberman One of the Ichorid lists has 0 colored mana and looks pretty cool http://sales.starcitygames.com/deckdatabase/deckshow.php?&t%5BC1%5D=vin&start_date=2006-07-09&end_date=2006-07-09

The color-less Ichorid List (28th place) has 4 Nether Voids and no apparent use for them (i.e. no way to cast them, recur them, etc.). Weird.

Everything fixed. I have to end it on the 9th or else the search will give Day 1 and Day 2 mixed together.

Ask rich shay, oh wait....he gave up on slaver because it can't beat grim long. A different build of U/R slaver with intuition AK won waterbury, maybe there is something to not depending on yawgmoths will to win a game.

The AK build won in an environment where 40% of the room (it may have actually been more, I just remember like 7 of top eight) was mirrors. It's no surprise adding draw spells to your deck makes it better against other control decks.
The more recent success of U/R slaver is probably from blood moon related sucker punches, or just a really solid player making a really solid mistake. There isn't a good reason to omit Yawgmoth's Will from your Slaver deck.

According to the site he doesn't run Blood Moon in the main or the side; however, it shows that he is running FOUR Stifles maindeck! Is this correct or is it a typo?
