Limited Beatstick
{3}{G}{G}
Creature - Wumpus
Trample
Whenever a spell or ability you control is put onto the stack, if that spell or ability could target a Limited Beatstick in play but doesn't, change one of its targets to Limited Beatstick.
6/6

Yet another installment in the limited aspect of our set.  This one is interesting because it may also have constructed applications.  I think that the 6/6 for 5 is fair because the reverse Flagbearer ability is definatly a severe enough drawback in limited.  I think that this might even be able to be costed at {3} {G}, but that may be pushin it...

CURRENT WORDING:

Auroral Wumpus
{3} {G} {G}
Creature - Wumpus
Trample
Whenever a spell or ability you control is put onto the stack, if that spell or ability could target a Limited Beatstick in play but doesn't, change one of its targets to Limited Beatstick.
5/6

This is too good, in my opinion. 3GG 6/6 Trample is really good, and actually better than Spiritmonger very often, which had a horrible farb colour combination to make it's abilities possible. The drawback can be ignored; you would usually target your biggest beast (as long as it tramples) with pump spells, and you don't have to destroy opponent's creatures because by turn 3 or 4, you can have a 6/6 trampling creature.

Agreed. It looks more like a 6cc spell.

For 5 mana, the 'reverse flagbearer' ability should be

You cannot play spells or abilities that do not target ~this~

Even then, it is still strong but at least risks losing you the game (Pacifism) in true Wumpus tradition.

5/5 for 5 would be a bad kavu.

that 1 G kavu with kicker 3 to get 3 +1/+1 counters and trample.

Yes,Tarmogoyf is probably better than Chameleon Colossus, but comparing it to Tarmogoyf is like comparing your girlfriend to Carmen Electra - one's versatile and reliable, the other's just big and cheap.(And you'd run both if you could get away with)

You could simply make it lose Trample, I think. That would balance him out, but also make him more boring.
