U/x Aggro for States

The Neutal Ground testing boards have been discussing two decks for states that really sparked my interest. I am a huge fan of aggro, and I was fascinated with R/G Beats I felt it just went enter my scoop phase from too many cards. Wrath Of God being and Loxodon Hierarchs aren't my friends. So I suppose counters are a better option. These are the two decks my teams came up with....

U/G Aggro

4 Birds of Paradise
4 Llanowar Elves
4 Plaxmanta
4 Looter il-Kor
4 Ohran Viper
4 Call of the Herd

2 Spell Snare
4 Remand
4 Moldervine Cloak
4 Psionic Blast

The problem with this deck, is that the creature base looks terrible, Dan Olmo and Flores are fan's of the deck but if the turn two Viper, turn three Cloak plan fails, it's frowntown. Oh yea, WoG isn't it's friend.

I want to stick Mystic Snake in there but you four mana is a bit asking for it...

I'm sold on it in general, it has a great Control match and does well vs Dragonstorm. More or less it poops out vs aggro. What sideboard should I be looking at? Any suggestions? What do you guys think of Voidmage Prodigy in here? My team is huge on the Gemstone Mine's as well, but I want to puke at the sight of them, since LD may have some sort of presence.
