Quick question.  I was wondering if anybody knew how Mind's Desire and suspend cards works.

Do you have to suspend them?
Can you play them?

What abuot with the ones that have no cost, and only a suspend cost?

Thanks

Suspend is optional, so you can play them with Mind's Desire if they have a mana cost. If they don't have a mana cost, they can't be played (e.g. Evermind - see below), so Mind's Desire would remove them from the game, and then they would stay there. Note that Suspend doesn't count as actually playing the card - it's a static ability of the card.

Shuffle your library. Then remove the top card of your library from the game. Until end of turn you may play that card without paying its mana cost. (If it has X in its cost, X=0)

6/1/2005 Even an effect that allows a player to play a spell without paying its cost can't allow Evermind to be played.

Keep in mind: it is quite possible that a rules update is released along with Time Spiral which makes this answer incorrect. It is advisable to wait until the set is released to ask rules questions about spoiled cards.

How about choosing a non-legend creature? Otherwise he is a UG instant Wrath of Frog.
