Just another dumb mechanic tacked on to a card drawing spell.

Oral Tradition
U
Sorcery
Draw a card.
As you play CARDNAME, you may play cards named CARDNAME from your graveyard.

Oral Tradition
XU
Sorcery

X can't be more than the number of cards named Oral Tradition in your graveyard as you play Oral Tradition.

Draw a card, then draw X cards.  Remove X cards named Oral Tradition in your graveyard from the game.

Compare this templating to the Oracle text for Spoils of War.

I suppose I should elaborate and say that I was thinking of how Panglacial Wurm (and cards like Isochron Scepter) allow you to "play" things at times you normally couldn't play them.  I was trying to think of a way to combine that with the old Kindle idea.  It could just be that the entire concept doesn't work.

I'm not sure this would work, but it would be a ridiculous card drawing engine on par with AK or better.
