Too strong? Too weak? Should it be a 2/2 with haste?

That MaRo had the audacity to taint the good name of the Rakdos by including a justification for HoFLong in their article.

I'm going to go with ... way too strong.

The cards into yard thing is only going to be relevant if your opponent has more life then you have cards in your library!  Barring that, cards in your graveyard is typically a good thing.  Red doesn't have many tricks but: Welder, Trash for Treasure, Recoup, Kindle, Anger, threshold Dragon guy, the red "sorcery */* guy."  Splashing Black for reanimates or soemthing like that and this guy is just simply too strong.

A 2/2 (w/o haste) for R seems better.

or maybe something like:  R - 3/3,   Whenever ~ deals combat damage, discard that many cards.  For each card you could not discard in this way, put the top card of your library into your graveyard.

Also any reason why red and not black?

Sweet Buddha! That thing is busted all up the way up the Eight-Fold Path.

I'll give you a hint: putting cards from your library into your graveyard is a bonus, not a drawback.

How about choosing a non-legend creature? Otherwise he is a UG instant Wrath of Frog.

Plus, I don't think self-milling is read.

This would be the best 1 drop ever, probably better than Welder and company.  I don't think it's possible to make a fair 1 drop 3/3.  Either it's broken beyond belief or it's unplayable.

Nimble Mongoose and Rogue Elephant beg to differ. Also, I like Sleeper Agent.

What about:

{R}
Creature- Barbarian
1/1
This gets +2/+2 as long as you have one or less cards in your hand (maybe Hellbent?)

This could be green and 2/2 and put cards in your graveyard back into your library on combat damage. That would be cool.

NAME
{G}
Creature -- MotherFucker
2/2
Whenever CARDNAME deals combat damage, put that many cards from your graveyard on the bottom of your library or sacrifice CARDNAME.

You forgot Cinder Wall!  First turn Wall, second turn Rolling Stones.... BLAMMO
By comparison, the last red 1-drop with p/t > 3 was like, Torpid Moloch??  And that card is ass.  Lest we forget - White gets Isamaru, Red gets Norin the Wary.  This card probably needs to have "lose the game" somewhere on it, those cards are always fair and balanced.

I hesitate to post this a bit, because I'm not sure how much of a drawback this really is?  But I wanted to put it out there as it feels Red to me, and it might fit on this card better than the Threshold enabler that it is right now.

Manic Mooby Muffin
R
Creature - Human Dentist

-this- can't attack or block alone.
-this- can't attack or block unless each creature you control attacks or blocks.

3/3

Even then, maybe it's really a 2/2 and nobody knows it yet.  But unless you're playing with like, one- or two-drop hasty beats this guy can't actually swing until turn 3 and does nothing turn 1.
