Alright, so I'm headed to sleep in another hour, since I'm traveling all day tomorrow (my flight leaves LAX at 10:30AM PST and arrives in Columbus at 10~11PM). I'll check here, my PM's and e-mail one last time tomorrow morning, I'm still looking for someone to let me crash at their place (preferably that's going to the tournament and is in the area).
My cell is:
(805) 665 - 7119
Someone hook me up (again, I'm in the middle of moving back to the east coast, after the tournament I'm catching a bus back to Rochester NY, my immediate family is using the extra checked bags they get when visiting extended family in the area to bring me extra stuff, and UPS'ing the rest) if possible, otherwise it looks like I'm biting the bullet on a hotel room and cab rides...

If Caboose backs out on his offer I will personally show him the Rod of Spanking next time he makes the trip up to a Pandemonium event. BTW, I'm jealous as hell of all of you luck sacks who don't have a wedding to go to today and a Church Christmas show to put on tommorow and a Differential Equations final to cram for.

Well, I'm on 90 day probation at my job, so when my boss asks me to work extra, I do it. Furthermore, that dude was flying out here anyways, because he's moving, so legally I'm in the clear.
Cancerstix, nice jorb scaring me off. Now I'll just play at RIW.
EDIT: I'm actually going to Windsor tomorrow and Tuesday to play poker at Casino Windsor. The RIW guys should come drink some Dom Perignon and Cirstal in my hotel room.

Apparently you're unaware of the practice of giving an Unhinged Rod of Spanking to the days biggest loser. If you backed out of your promise, that would be you.

Actually Spencer, Mike won the whole thing, so all your prizes are belong to Meandeck : )
T8: GOBLINS GOBLINS GOBLINS GOBLINS PIKULA PIKULA! Buuuuuurniniator Iggy-Pop
All the Goblins got knocked out in the semis, Pikula beat Pikula in the quarters and Iggy beat Burn, and Iggy beat Pikula to take the thing home.
Congratulations to Mike Bomholt, he was due for a win! We had around 28 people at this event I think, a great showing!

What Hi-Val aka "What the hell did Spencer Do to my rating" failed to mention is that I in fact was the Pikula that got second... So I think I did quite well. The fact that Mike topdecks IT like its his job is just crazy shit.

Wow! I really like that top 8. I was actually getting pretty sick of all the Thresh decks in top-8. Nice to see a couple B/W Confidant get in there too. @Spencer-Congrats on the 2nd place finish. Did anyone else from MI top 8?
@bomholmm-Though I don't know you, I must thank you for kicking Spencer's ass. I usually take care of that myself but I was unable to make the event.

#1) I don't believe there was a Threshold deck there though I could be mistaken. #2) I was the only MI to top 8. #3) I'm pretty sure I haven't lost to you yet buddy but you can keep on dreaming .

*grumble* who the hell plays Rifter? That was just stupid. The metagame breakdown was thusly:
I had the metagame breakdown wirrten out, but I lost it. 6 Goblins, 3 combo (2 Igg and one stupid one), 1 Threshold, 3 Burn, 2 B/w, 2 MBA. Anything else, I either don't recall or don't feel like typing out.

Rawr, your mother must be proud. I have lost to Cancerstix once everyone! The evils! In all seriousness though this was a great time and assuming I have people to go with there shall be more of me in Columbus.. PS: I'll be bringing the KrzyMoose next time.

ROFL. Its kind of funny that you mention that. My Mom just stopped by(really she did) and gave me a big hug saying, "Good boy. I'm so proud of you for puttin a whoopin on that little Spencer kid. Even I know Zoo loses to Salvager Combo." Anyway...Congrats again on your 2nd place finish. I really wish I could have been there instead of at church aaaalll daaay.

Thresh is still the second best deck in the format. Why are people shying away from it? Also, I have super secret tech (the best deck in 1.5) that beats everything in the format. And no, my name is not Finn.

Because the best decks in the format are IGG and Goblins? Threshold is so woefully underpowered it's ridiculous. If you'd actually come to the event with Threshold, maybe we'd have something to talk about!

Rofl, that was me. And that was the reaction I was getting all day. I managed to lose to goblins round 5, but if I was able to pull out game that game 3, I would have been able to draw into the top 8. Good times though, if there is another one coming, I'll totally attend, but this time armed with starstorms!
