My friends and I play three-way multiplayer (highlander with power). A lot of our games get to a point where we all have like 14 mana in play and then it is silly. We are not Spike's, but Johnnys. We just like the games to be cool, not somebody dropping a Multani and then it's over.
Question #1: Is there any card that would help keep lands in check (other than Armaggedon and Balance). I am looking for a Drop of Honey card, that effects lands. Does it exist? Closest I can find is Kudzu.
Topic #2. What are your favorite cards for multiplayer, skewing more towards Johnny than Spike. (time spiral/planar have totally reinvigorated me towards multiplayer- coolest sets ever- I feel like Arabian nights again).

Very cool card in limited resources, but I think that might stalemate the game. Thanks for the recommendation. I'm just looking for something that slowly chips away at lands. Like kudzu....anything else like it, or cheaper?

I think Destructive Flow is what you're looking for. Hustle and Flow can really keep people in check, and if you run Sakura-Tribe Elders, it's pretty easy to get the mana to put it in play without losing lands.
You might also check out Stoneshaker Shaman, which in addition to being neat, has a REALLY fun name to say. <3 Alliteration.
Also, there's Steam Vines.
Hope this helps!

Thanks guys! I think what I was really looking for was this, but I guess it doesn't exist. I think the ones that destroy a land every upkeep are too aggressive, and kudzu is too narrow....I would love:
Super Kudzu GG Enchantment
At the beginning of your upkeep, you must sacrifice a land. If you have no land in play, remove Super Kudzu from the game.
If you sacrifice a land, target opponent gains control of Super Kudzu.
[this allows it to not necessarily destroy a land every turn (depending on how you re-give it). Could also trigger at end of turn, to allow you to use the mana.
or maybe.....
Kudzu II GG Enchanment
At the beginning of your upkeep, target opponent randomly destroys a land he or she controls. That opponent gains control of Kudzu II.

You could try Braids or Smokestack or Curse of the Cabal or Sunder or a global animate land enchantment + Humility.

I think Land Equilibrium could be what you're looking for. It lets you preemptively control exactly how much mana is in play, and you can break it by playing bouncelands.
Alternately, Natural Balance has the same effect as Limited Resources (everyone sacs to five lands), but doesn't prevent people from playing new lands.

Although they don't destroy lands, these cards can keep them in check (im sure you know about them): Winter orb/back to basics.

How about about Blue Green with Mana Vortex, Crucible, Exploration? Basically you still hit your land drops while everyone else slowly gets their lands eaten. If you wanted to be especially annoying, you could build a Stasis lock into your deck... not that I suggest that for multiplayer decks.
