This was my first crack at a set review, so please be gentle. Wink  Additionally, I am aware that Delay does not work the way I thought; I was thinking it was an unerrataed Ertai's Meddling for some reason.  Regardless, I think the logic still holds.

Otherwise, your comments are welcome.  Thanks.

Mindcensor is probably more fitting into Stax archetype due to the unusual CMC. Also, I wouldn't agree with the 'cycle - sac land' card being viable at all. Yixlid is much more likely to see good amount of play than that...thing.

I really enjoyed reading your article, Dave. Especially the little jokes you threw in the captions, beneath the pictures.  Wink

One minor nitpick however: You said that "Dryad Arbor won't cut it in Vintage", however, before it was even legal, it has made it's way in to several Ichorid sideboards. It's ability to tap for {G}, or even be considered a Forest for that matter (see Reverant Silence), in addition to it's "man-land" qualities which allow it to be sacrificed for flashback, all making it a great selection for the deck. Although, Josh Silvestri (Vegeta2711) provided this idea in his Ichorid article in which he released just this week, so I can't really blaime you for not knowing of it.

Overall, great article.

Thanks for the article, it was a good read. Some little nitpicks:  Wink

Street Wraith - drawback of being vanila 3/4 creature is not that bad when playing against fish. Also,
Quote from: Yare
My gut says that there is diminishing utility per Street Wraith whenever you add a Street Wraith, but this could be incorrect for various reasons.
this looks like 60 vs 61 cards in a deck argue. And we all know how that ends usually.  Very Happy

Aven Mindcensor - casting cost of 3 could prove to be a serious drawback, especially in fish where creatures usually cost 1 or 2 mana.

Sumonner's Pact - it can grab Protean Hulk, which means instant win in combination with Flash. Then again, Smmenen says it's bloody awful.

Planeswalkers? I like 'em pickled and tenderized.

Barren Glory is terrible with Balance. Try this on for size:

Opponent's EOT: Flash choosing Academy Rector. In response to Rector's trigger, Dark Ritual, Kaervek's Spite. Find Barren Glory. Win during your upkeep.

You need three mana on the table and four different cards for the combo. Still terrible, but at least it isn't sorcery speed wait-a-turn.

Also, I think you might have forgotten to mention how amazing Street Wraith is in Ichorid.

Otherwise, nice article =)

EDIT:
Note to self, check original source before quoting.

What???  Where did I say that?

My set review said this:

Summoner's Pact

This card could also go in a Meandeck Tendrils variant. It thins your deck by finding an Elvish Spirit Guide, ups your storm count, and generates you a mana at no cost. Pretty good.

I was reffering to Hulk-Flash combo, not Summoner's Pact.
