I've been wanting to create a more novel based deck around false cure but am having trouble scrounging up enough combinations to run with.

Skyshroud Cutter + False Cure = -5 life
Laquatus's Champion + False Cure = -6 life (when laQ dies that is (nVm the -6 for when he comes into play))

Pack hunt to fetch the key creatures after 1 is in play.

Do you know of any other fun ones to add to False Cure based decks?

I'll probably give into buried alive for Laquatus's Champion fetching and perhaps victimize to get 2 into play at once.  I was also thinking of adding Pillar Tombs of Aku as another novel card to mess around with.  Feel free to drop by with any more card combos with either.  Just looking to make a fun deck to make the opponent think to himself... WTF just happened?!  kekekeke

     Kavu Predator is pretty sweet.
Also, there's Reverent Silence, and Invigorate (this one's huge).
There may be a few more free-lifegain cards from the Mercadian Block that I'm forgetting.
A quick Gatherer search would find you any others.

Note, incidentally, that although False Cure causes someone to lose twice the life they gain, they still gain the life, so Skyshroud Cutter, for example, is a net of -5 life, not -10 life.

Indeed my recklessness has again caught me in error of simple math.  Yet; I'm still humored enough by the concept to push onward into making this deck.   Wink
